The Moon&SkyGlow filters can improve the overall image contrast without losing brightness!
This type of filter uses a particular bandwidth that increases the contrast especially on planets such as Jupiter, Mars or on the Moon, and simultaneously darkens the sky background improving the visibility of many deep-sky objects. Thanks to the large bandwidth, can also be used as a light pollution reduction filter in small diameter telescopes that can't use UHC filters.
When we photograph or observe at high magnifications planets or the Moon, we are always looking for more contrast to capture the smallest details. The Moon&SkyGlow filter increases the contrast in every kind of application and therefore is suitable as a generic filter for every telescope. Since is lead to a darken sky background, it is also suitable as a filter against light pollution even for small diameter telescopes!
How to use the filters: The PrimaLuceLab-filters are always available in two diameters: 31.8mm and 50.8mm. These standards are commonly used by telescopes and their accessories. For example, depending on their function, they can be used with a CCD ora A DSLR camera (using appropriate photo adapters), but also screwed to optical accessories such as eyepieces or diagonals.
