The accompanying DVD contains ten episodes of the video series Hubblecast. These ten documents are in English with German subtitles.
The author Oli Usher studied history and philosophy at University College London and the University of Cambridge. He has written extensively about science, technology and their place in society. At Cambridge his interest in science communication began. Before he went to the ESO, he worked as a journalist.
The author L ars Christensen directs the training and Öffentlichkeitsbteilung ESO in Munich. He is responsible for public relations and education at the La Silla Paranal Observatory-at ALMA, the European Extremely Large Telescope and the Hubble Space Telescope. He is also head of the press department of the International Astronomical Union.
